Elle made an interview with Adel Onodi for their March issue, in which she talks about the hardships of trans women and her plans as an actress and singer.
She is a Berlin-based actress and trans activist, of Hungarian origin. In August 2017, She received death threats on Facebook.
"My only 'crime' was the fact that I was transgender. The person harassing me was a man living in my home village, who threatened me that if I did not hang myself, he would do it for me. Sadly enough, I did not even feel any remorse over this. By this point in my life, I had been through so much, endured such pain that being hurt for nothing almost felt like the natural state of life. By this time, I had finished my surgeries, received my new documents and been living in Berlin for over a week. I was not out as a trans woman. This experience of harassment however motivated me to stand up for the trans community. I realised that as a trans woman I have to openly speak out against the injustice, everyday discrimination and violence that transgender people experience. In 2018, I realised a one-woman theatre play, entitled 'Dear Future Me'."
Through theatre play, she would like to reach wide audiences, hoping that she can utilises the tools of art to build bridges and spark empathy. The purpose of 'Dear Future Me' is to show that despite the differences in our stories and struggles, deep down we are all able to find common ground and connect through our fears, questions and desires.
