The Malta Pride March has become a prominent yearly event on Malta’s calendar.
From just about 50 courageous activists back in 2004 marching down in Valletta demanding recognition, to over 4,500+ individuals from all walks of life in 2018 who came together to celebrate diversity in all its forms.
As at 2018, Malta ranks 1st on the ILGA-Europe Rainbow Map.
LGBTQ+ individuals in Malta enjoy the right to marry, adopt children, affirm their true gender legally, are protected from conversion therapy, and can make use of IVF.
Malta is fast becoming one of the LGBTQ+ Friendliest Destinations worldwide!
