Allied Rainbow Communities, organisers of Malta Pride, are pleased to partner up with three distinct yet complimentary media houses this year's Malta Pride Week taking place between the 6th and 15th September.
89.7 Bay, The Malta Independent and LovinMalta need no introductions as they are amongst the biggest and most forward-looking media companies in Malta and shall be covering Pride on #Radio, #Print and #Online respectively.

By partnering up with these different means of communications, we hope to reach out to a much wider audience than in previous years. As we like to say, Pride can be a tool for social change. Throughout our events at Pride Week we take the opportunity to raise awareness, educate, and bring people together that in no other circumstance is possible.
Notwithstanding the equality laws which Malta achieved in recent years, the LGBTQ+ community can still feel isolated and un-empowered to make use of those laws by which it is protected. Families, schools and workplaces can still be an unsafe place for LGBTQ+ individuals and homo/bi/transphobic attitudes in society as well as within the community are not that rare.
