Experience the power of resilience and the triumph of the human spirit with “Outcasts,” a captivating and interactive multidisciplinary performance that will take place on the 14th and 15th of September at the renowned Valletta Campus Theatre. Delve into the profound journey of LGBTIQ+ individuals in Tunisia, as this groundbreaking production explores their struggles, traumas, and the collective impact on society.

In a country where individuals are unjustly criminalized for their very identities, decolonizing the mind and challenging preconceived interpersonal phobias becomes an arduous task. “Outcasts” invites you to witness the deconstruction of these barriers and the subsequent reconstruction of individual and collective identities. Through a captivating narrative, the performance sheds light on the personal experiences of the LGBTIQ+ community, while simultaneously highlighting the impact on society as a whole.

Under the co-direction of Mohamed Ali (Dali) Aguerbi and Chakib Zidi, and featuring the choreography of Chakib Zidi, “Outcasts” promises to be a transformative and thought-provoking experience. The impeccable design and dramaturgy by Mohamed Ali (Dali) Aguerbi, along with the exceptional talents of performers Mohammad El-Issaoui, Noura Abedlhafidh, Chakib Zidi, and Shayma AlQueer, come together to create a truly immersive and impactful production.

Additionally, the event will feature a captivating photo exhibition by the talented David Pisani, further enriching the experience and providing visual insights into the stories and struggles portrayed on stage.

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this extraordinary journey of self-discovery, resilience, and collective empowerment. “Outcasts” promises an evening of profound reflection, inspiration, and solidarity. Join us at the Valletta Campus Theatre and witness the power of theater to challenge societal norms and ignite positive change.
