Relevance of IDAHOBIT in 2021.

Relevance of IDAHOBIT is a three part discussion organised by the regional organisation LGBTI+ Gozo. Through open honest conversations, these discussions will introduce a number of themes that are pertinent onto our society in 2021.

As International Day Against Homophobia, Bi* phobia and Trans* phobia is commemorated annually on the 17th of May, we reflect on the growing pains, discrimination and unjust systems around us. We also celebrate the unity and fraternal communities that support each other to educate and grow as a society.

The three part discussion will bridge regional realities through the work of LGBTI+ Gozo, National narratives surrounding the legal progression in Malta and European experiences together with Queer activist from 3 different countries.

The events will be held on three consecutive Saturdays and will be streamed Facebook live. Audiences are invited to ask questions on the Q&A chat. The guest panellist will be announced throughout the coming weeks.
