This video is a must watch for all LGBTQ+ individuals who, like us, love the diversity and visibility of the queer artistry in the Eurovision Song Contest appreciated by millions across the globe.
However, we are also aware that a Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv is problematic for the very same reasons mentioned in this clip.
It is not right that millions are spent on a single day of Pride Events and Tourism Incentives whilst ignoring the plight of the local LGBTQ+ community and the infringement of Human Rights of millions of Palestinians.
This is not an appeal to boycott Eurovision but to open our eyes that #Pinkwashing is real and is used for political gain.
