Welcome, I am Dr Norman Galea, and I am a medical doctor currently reading for a Master of Science in Public Health degree at the University of Malta. I am presently conducting research as part of my course requirements titled "Knowledge, Attitude, Behaviour and Acceptability of HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis among at risk MSM on the Maltese Islands" under the supervision of Dr Roderick Bugeja and Dr Valeska Padovese. The aim of this study is to find how many gay and bisexual men are currently using PrEP in the Maltese island, and assess how many are not and the reasons for this. You are invited to participate in this study and complete this online questionnaire which will take about 15 minutes of your time. Any data collected from this research will be used solely for purposes of this study. Should you choose to participate, you will be asked to fill in this questionnaire. Participation in this study is entirely voluntary; in other words, you are free to accept or refuse to participate, without needing to give a reason. Raw data would be seen only by myself and my supervisor, and will never be shared with other researchers. Only computed anonymized results will be shared with other researchers. Completing and returning the questionnaire will be considered as implied consent.
