Allied Rainbow Communities was honoured to present a pin of courage to Chakib Zidi & Mohamed Ali Agrebi (Dali) for their courage to speak up about the realities they face as LGBTQ Asylum Seekers.
This is a growing reality that the world is facing, including Malta.
They among an undisclosed number of people seeking asylum under Malta’s Refugees Act based on fears their sexuality would result in degrading treatment or punishment in their country of origin.
Chakib & Dali were both present at this year's Malta Pride holding placards highlighting the issues they face.
