Pride Season Begins! 🏳️🌈 Malta Pride's March & Concert will be held on Saturday 14th September
The theme for this year, chosen by the various LGBTI Organisations here in Malta is "From Riots to Rainbows: 50 years since Stonewall" ❣️💪 We promise to make Pride an event that brings visibility to the entire LGBTIQ+ community here in Malta and puts forward the issues that matter. We want to ensure that everyone can feel that they belong. There is much to celebrate here in Malta when it comes to LGBTIQ Equality, but let us not forget that our struggle to remove the stigma, shame and the policing of our bodies remains ongoing... Current events show that what was given to us can never be guaranteed as set in stone. We stand to be counted because we all matter. We are grateful for the Companies who support Malta Pride, because they are not just supporting our yearly event, but supporting our work for the community all year round. Their support is particularly important because, contrary to public perception we do not depend on government support. So let us enjoy the start of Pride Season and proudly show that love is love is love is love ...
