Measures to fight stigma against HIV
As part of its work on the exploratory opinion requested by the forthcoming Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU on Measures to fight stigma against HIV, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is holding a remote public hearing on 29 March 2023 from 10:00 to 13:00. By means of a discussion with civil society organisations and socio-professional stakeholders, the event will examine possible measures to fight stigma against HIV and to help improve prevention and the quality of life of people with HIV. Your participation and input are most welcome! A programme is available here. Please register through this registration form. Registration is possible until Monday 27 March, 12 p.m. A link will be shared with the registered persons before the event. Dans le cadre de ses travaux sur l’avis exploratoire demandé par la future présidence espagnole du Conseil de l’UE sur le thème «Mesures de lutte contre la stigmatisation des personnes atteintes de VIH», le Comité économique et social européen (CESE) organise une audition publique virtuelle le 29 mars 2023, de 10 heures à 13 heures. La manifestation examinera, à travers une discussion avec les organisations de la société civile et les acteurs socioprofessionnels, les mesures pouvant permettre de lutter contre la stigmatisation des personnes atteintes de VIH et de contribuer à améliorer la prévention et la qualité de leur vie.
