"Dritt bhal xemgha" - SAIs do not Discriminate! arc Sexual Health Campaign Part #3
Some believe that SAIs (Sexually Acquired Infections) are a thing of the past and that SAIs are an LGBTIQ issue. SAIs such as gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV show an alarming increase in Malta.
SAIs have nothing to do with sexual orientation but with sexual behaviour. Currently in Malta there are more straight people living with HIV than LGBTIQ and msm joined together.
9/10 cases of SAIs are acquired thru people who do not know their status as SAIs often show no symptoms.
Hence ARC - Allied Rainbow Communities recommends each of us tests regularly to know our status, getting peace of mind or access to early treatment thus being able to protect our partner/partners. For more information visit www.testmalta.info
