RotiRoza - The Fun Bike Ride

It's Spring time, so it's time to explore nature and why not do it with fellow queers!! ARC have teamed up with nextbike, the bike-sharing company, to organise Roti Roza, an LGBT-friendly bike ride that includes a visit to the yearly Festa Frawli in Mgarr. Starting off from nextbike’s Imwiezeb station in Bugibba, we will cycle along some of the more unique parts of Malta’s countryside, including Mgarr, Wardija and Mosta. The 25km route avoids the busiest roads, and will take us through many natural footpaths. Don’t panic, it's a moderate trail and you don’t need to be a cycling pro or an enthusiast! We’ve designed the tour to be taken at leisure, mostly on flat terrain and you’ll be able to stop frequently, with the longest break in Mgarr to re-charge your glucose levels for the way back. The price of the event is €30, including a €5 donation to ARC. E-bikes are also available on a first come first served basis, for an extra €5. Only 30 places are available for safety reasons, so book in advance! Make sure you wear comfortable clothing and bring 1l of water with you. Helmets will be provided , and you also have space to leave your rucksack on the bikes. As our friend RuPaul says: Gentlemen, start your engines…and let us all have some good queer fun! The time has come, to pedal for your life….don’t **** it up!
