As in previous years the JC Diversity Committee will be celebrating the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia at the Junior College. The activity will be held on the day which is Thursday 17th May in the Foyer between 9.00 and 1.00. There will be information stands, educational material, LGBTIQ merchandise for sale and representatives from LGBTIQ NGOs. MGRM (the Malta Gay Rights Movement), Arc Rainbow Communities (ARC), and Drachma LGBTI will also be participating in the event. A question box will be set up on the stand where students can drop in questions anonymously and these will be answered in the event page with the hastag #idahotjc2018 During the event, there will be a screening of the film About Ray/3 Generations which is about a teenage girl who decides to transition from female to male and how his mother deals with it while trying to track down his father to give his legal consent.
