Amber to perform at the Malta Pride Concert
Excited to announce Amber as one of the performers at the Malta Pride Concert on 15th September taking place at Herbert Ganado Gardens in Valletta after the Pride March.
The dynamic vocal tone of Maltese born performer Amber became widely recognised following her representation of Malta in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. Since scooping the maximum 12 points Amber has continued to develop her unique style and sound.
For the past few years, Amber has been under the vocal guidance of Pamela Bezzina. Amber has taken to the stage across Europe performing at sell out shows in the UK, Austria, Malta and Russia whilst duetting with names such as Joseph Calleja along side Ronan Keating, Gigi D’Alessio as well as Suor Cristina, winner of ’The Voice Italy’ 2014.
In 2015 Amber performed during the CHOGM opening ceremony held in Malta, in front of all the common wealth heads of states including Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles.
In 2016 Amber was invited to perform for a sell-out audience at the Isle of MTV concert alongside Wiz Khalifa, Jess Glynne, Clean Bandit, Steve Aoki amongst others. Following this she went on to top the iTunes and local radio charts with hit singles “Messed Up Love”, “What They Say”, ''Power'' and “Warrior”.
Amber has also performed during the Valletta 18 opening as part of the 'Erba Pjazez' show.
Voluntary work is a great part of Amber’s character. She has often used her voice to raise much needed funds for overseas charities. She yearly visits Africa to voluntary work helping children in need.
Redemption, released November 2016, is Amber’s debut album release, co-written, composed and produced with acclaimed Maltese music duo, Elton and Muxu. After 18 months of determination and residing in a studio, initial ideas started to develop into chart worthy, potential hits. The album is a blend of styles with influences of Pop, Soul, Jazz and R&B. The album is a clear representation of Ambers life experiences to date.
