Not only do they allow for same-sex marriage and have a Malta Pride week, but the ILGA-Europe Rainbow map has voted Malta the most LGBTIQ-friendly destination for multiple years. Malta is looking to capitalise on those honours and assist travel agents who plan vacations for LGBTQ travellers with a new online training program. Teaming up with OTT, Malta’s new travel agent training program can be found at learnlgbtmalta.org. It will be used to inform travel agents about LGBTQ-friendly hotels, activities, and places to visit in Malta, travelpulse.com reports.
