CALL FOR ARTISTS

This year Betapsi are organising an art exhibition in collaboration with MGRM, Richmond Foundation - Malta and HoASA that focuses on the topic of mental health within the LGBTIQ+ community. The aim of the exhibition is to give a space for members of the LGBTIQ+ to express their personal experiences and viewpoints regarding the topic of mental health within the LGBTIQ+ community through a creative medium. The week-long exhibition will take place on the week of the 17th - 22nd of October and will take place at the University of Malta.

This is a call to anyone who forms part of the LGBTIQ+ community who wishes to have their work pertaining to the theme of LGBTIQ+ and mental health presented during this exhibition. The call is not only intended for professional artists but also for all individuals who use art and creativity as a means of expressing themselves. Though the preferred creative media for the exhibition are visual media such as video/film, paintings and drawings, other creative talents such as written poetry or prose, music etc are also welcome to be showcased within the exhibition or through our social media, including any completed works you may have that would fit into the theme of the exhibition.

The deadline for submission of creative works is 12th October 2022. Please fill in the following form to apply if you are interested in the opportunity of having your work showcased to the public at the University of Malta campus during the exhibition. More detailed information regarding submission will be provided on completion of application.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing the fruits of your creativity!
