NERVE was born out of a desire to create a safe space for queer people where they can freely express themselves without judgement and fear.
Centred around different themes for every event - from Monochrome to Denim & Diamonds, Keane the brains behind the event created this event out of a desire for a truly inclusive LGBTIQ+ party that Malta has been lacking for quite some time.
Playing the best hits of the 2000s and the biggest Eurovision bangers all night long, Nerve has become a much anticipated night out for the Maltese queer community.
Recognising the true courage of the queer community, NERVE was the perfect name for the event. In a world where queer people face judgement and even harassment for having the nerve to truly be themselves - Nerve provides not only a space to have pure fun, but also serves to expand the voice and needs of a diverse queer community.
Moreover, this project does not seek to create competition with other similar projects, the objective is simply to unite all queer people regardless of their identity, never excluding anyone.
Following their launch in May of 2022, Nerve has some big plans in the pipeline for 2023, including bigger performances, events and a dj line-up to die for. Not to mention Europride 2023 (More details out soon!)
Launched less than a year ago, NERVE has managed to capture the attention of Malta’s queer community and is sure to keep on providing a safe and truly inclusive space for they years to come!
